We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
The primary responsibility is to assist in the provision of dental services utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Performs all duties required to assist the dentist with patient care, takes prescribed dental radiographs and/or intraoral photographs; provides instructions to the patient under the guidance of the dentist; performs infection control and instrument sterilization; performs preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly); assist with appointment scheduling
This role is needed to support ongoing clinical operations at Southeast dental clinic, the dentist must have a dental assistant present to provide patient care Clinical dental services at Southeast dental clinic
Experience: minimum 6 months of experience as a Dental Assistant Bilingual – Spanish preferred Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Manage infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Handle administrative tasks, including updating patient records in software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Monitor vital signs and assist in managing patient comfort during visits.
