We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, medical terminology, and familiarity with dental systems, including Open-Dental and X-Ray procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety standards.
Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in creating accurate dental impressions.
Maintain accurate patient records, including vital signs and medical history.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures, with a strong understanding of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with Open-Dental or similar dental management software systems.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to the dental field.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Experience with 3D scanners is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow in the clinic.

Pay: $21.98 - $23.08 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 38 per week
Schedule:
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
