Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our new startup dental practice in Fort Worth/Keller, TX 76244. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as proficiency in medical documentation and imaging techniques.
Pay
$18 - $22 (based on experience)
Schedule

8 hour shift on Tue, Thu, and Fri
6 hour shift on Sat (8am-2pm)

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take dental X-rays and perform dental imaging as required.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow in the office.
Utilize dental software, such as Open Dental or Dentrix, for patient management and record keeping.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging when necessary.
Assist with general dentistry tasks, including preparing materials for fillings or impressions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology.
Familiarity with dental coding and documentation practices is advantageous.
Proficiency in X-ray techniques and medical imaging is required.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
Bilingual Spanish is preferred
Double-trained background with front desk experience preferred
