Permanent Dental Assistant Job in South Lake Tahoe, CA
El Dorado Community Health Centers, a FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center), is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant for their South Lake Tahoe Location set to open in Summer of 2025. As a non-profit community health center EDCHC provides Medical, Dental, Optical, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health and SUD Treatment Services to underserved populations in El Dorado County.
Reporting to the Dental Office Supervisor, and under the general supervision of the Dentist in a clinical setting, the RDA assists the Dentist in the provision of high-quality care within the scope of service consistent with accepted standards of care for dentistry.
Experience & Educational Requirements:
Graduate of an RDA Educational Program approved by the Dental Board of California or a California Department of Education approved 4-month educational program
Current, valid State of California license as a Registered Dental Assistant
Current Certification in coronal polish, fluoride application, and dental sealants, as appropriate
Current Dental X-ray Certification
Current BLS certification required
