Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Jackson, TN
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform dental charting and update medical records- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience- X-ray certification- Knowledge of medical documentation systems, such as Epic or CAD- Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
