Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in historic downtown Cedarburg, 1-2 days per week. This is a private, one doctor practice owned by Dr. Justin Braun DDS. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care , promoting oral health and adding to our FUN dental family. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing using appropriate techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure efficient workflow during procedures.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of general dentistry concepts.
Experience in a dental clinic environment preferred; familiarity with dental assisting is a plus.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
Ability to perform medical coding for insurance purposes is advantageous but not required.
