OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and patient education. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as experience in specialized areas. The dentist will work collaboratively with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver exceptional patient experiences in a welcoming environment.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and other general dentistry services.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to diagnose dental issues accurately.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring all dental terminology is correctly documented.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental practices and technologies to continually improve patient care.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards.
Experience with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $193,447.00 - $213,647.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
