Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation- Sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide support to dental receptionists as needed
Skills- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Ability to operate dental software systems for scheduling and charting- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment- Knowledge of endodontic procedures- Previous experience as a dental assistant or receptionist is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
