Our office is growing and we're in need of more support. Right now, we require coverage on Mondays, with additional days to be added as you join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and has the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take dental x-rays
Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in creating accurate dental impressions.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and treatment plans.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with Dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical documentation is beneficial.
Experience with software or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
Knowledge of pediatric, endodontic and periodontic dentistry practices is advantageous.
Skills in Dental coding are appreciated but not required.
