Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary support and ensuring patient comfort.
Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain infection control standards and follow aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
Document patient medical records accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Stay updated on dental terminology and practices to enhance patient care.
Work effectively with ALL patients, ensuring a positive experience for everyone during their visits.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
Familiarity with dental terminology and medical records management.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to assisting patients.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
