Les Belles is a high quality, fast paced boutique dental practice is seeking a Part Time Dental assistant for THURSDAYS & SATURDAYS to join the team.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including Endodontics and other specialized treatments.
Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic protocols.
Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and healthcare professionals.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes, assisting in the creation of precise dental models.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, making children feel comfortable during their appointments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient clinic operations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred; familiarity with dental clinics is a plus.
Knowledge of medical documentation processes and medical records management is essential.
Understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Proficiency in taking vital signs and assisting with various dental procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is advantageous but not required.
