Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry and a commitment to maintaining infection control standards. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a friendly and professional environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Provide dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as necessary.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and scheduling.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements

Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Texas.
CPR or BLS Certification
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and patient assessment techniques.
Familiarity with Dentrix dental software systems is preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug testing
