Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure accurate treatment planning.
Assist dentists during procedures, providing support as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs as part of patient assessments.
Utilize Eaglesoft and other dental systems for patient management and documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental clinic environment.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry.
Experience with dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and systems used in dental clinics.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding their significance in patient care.
