Duties of Dental Assistant and Job description:
Clerical, chair side, an lab duties:

Communicating with patients to schedule appointments, make reminder calls. Performing office management tasks, including computer-based work
Assisting with dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions
Cleaning up after procedures.
Setting up the rooms for patients
Taking & pouring dental impressions (molds of the mouth)
Sterilizing equipment
Preparing patients for surgery
Preparing examination areas
Operating equipment and monitors
Talking with patients
Performing administrative tasks
Tracking inventory and placing orders.

Technical Skills: (Open to learning or previous experience)

Advanced dental procedures in order to anticipate the order of operations
Ability to take X-rays, blood pressure readings, and dental impressions
Dental materials and maintaining equipment

People Skills:

Settle patients in and prepare them for their check-up, surgery, or procedure
Ask about their medical history
Be a good listener
Ensure that patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
Be a good communicator, as you’ll provide oral hygiene and care instructions for procedures or surgery

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
