Dental Hygienist - Stephen J. Tychostup DDS, PLLC - Saratoga Springs, NY

Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part time basis. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent oral care to our patients. Hours: Office hours 8AM-430PM, Monday-Thursday
Hourly rate: $42-45 per hour.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Conduct patient assessments and oral screenings- Take digital x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental)- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care
Requirements:- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of New York- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficient in medical documentation and recordkeeping- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Previous experience working in a dental office is required.
