Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Perform periodontal maintenance, dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, and debridement.
Evaluate overall health and educate patients on preventative care, outcomes, and oral hygiene.
Maintain patient electronic dental records (Open Dental and Dexis)
Send letters to referring offices (template provided).
Take radiographs as needed.
Follow practice protocols for quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, sterilization, charting, referral maintenance, implants, periodontal program.
Stock required supplies and maintain hygiene instruments.
Assist with sterilization.

Qualifications

Degree in Dental Hygiene
Current NM Dental Hygiene license
Current CPR certification
Local Anesthesia Certification

Hourly rate depends on qualification and experiences.
Part-time position 1-2 days per week, flexible
