PART TIME DENTAL ASSITANT NEEDED TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 8:30- 5:00PM
Smile Avenue Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists in delivering top-notch dental services.
**Job Overview:**
As a Dental Assistant at Smile Avenue Dentistry, you will be responsible for assisting the dental team during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking and developing dental x-rays, and providing excellent patient care. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the dental office.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant work experience
- X-ray certification (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
Salary Range: Negotiable and based on number of years of experience
