Job Summary:Join our private dental practice as a dental receptionist and become an integral part of our team. We are looking for a team player who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for patient service and administrative tasks. This position is for full-time employment.
Duties:
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
Verifying dental insurance benefits
Taking in patient and insurance payments
Utilize Open Dental for patient management
Going over treatment plans with patients and answering their questions
Maintain organized patient records and update information as needed
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Familiarity with dental terminology to assist patients with inquiries
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient service
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role
Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
Must be able to use a computer and understand insurance websites
Proficiency in using phone systems and administrative tasks
