Registered Dental Hygienist - Dr Randy Smoot - Campbellsville, KY

As a Dental Hygienist, your role will include:

Performing patient screenings, including reviewing medical history, assessing oral health, conducting oral cancer screenings, and taking vital signs.
Taking necessary radiographs as part of diagnostic procedures.
Removing calculus, plaque, and soft deposits from teeth surfaces.
Applying preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition counseling.
Providing guidance on the impact of nutrition on oral health.
Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient records.
Managing the hygiene schedule and ensuring patient follow-ups.
Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other health and safety regulations.
Assisting with the maintenance and sterilization of dental equipment.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of dental health and safety regulations (HIPAA compliance).
Experience in maintaining and preparing dental equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, friendly, and professional demeanor.
