As of ritght now only needed for WEDNESDAYS AND THRUSDAYS but can become a full time position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.

Skills

Proficient in dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Experience in dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and patient management.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus for working with younger patients.
Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is advantageous.
Experience using Epic or similar dental software for record management is preferred.
Ability to monitor vital signs as part of patient assessments.
Skilled in assisting with various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Experience with 3D scanners for digital impressions is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient dental clinic environment.
