Summary
We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team at Shen Dental Care in our two office locations in Villa Park and Mount Prospect. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for managing appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the office. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellent patient service.
Responsibilities

Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently.
Verify insurance information and assist patients with inquiries regarding their coverage.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless office operations.
Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
Manage patient accounts, insurance claims and processing.

Requirements

1 + years of previous experience as a Dental receptionist or in a similar role is required.
Familiarity with dental terminalogy.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and health information management.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
