Registered Dental Hygienist - VCARE Family Dental - Tracy, CA

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and patient education in a professional and compassionate manner.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and debridement
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized dental hygiene care plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper nutrition, and preventative dental care.
-Knows Itero scanning and can educate patients on Invisalign.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Take and record vital signs as necessary
- Capture and interpret medical imaging such as x-rays
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy in patient care
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive dental care
**Qualifications:**
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in Open Dental
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Ability to perform patient assessments and take vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively
