Job SummarySmile Bright Orthodontics is looking for someone positive, high-energy, self-motivated, and willing to go above and beyond to make our patient experience the best it can be! We are a new private enthusiastic orthodontic practice that focuses on high quality orthodontics and customer care. We are looking to hire a Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant. Skillset will include but is not limited to: taking diagnostic records (photos and radiographs), experience with fixed appliances, aligner therapy, and retainers, reviewing oral hygiene protocols, use of an intraoral scanner, and sterilization of instruments. Must have a current RDA license. We offer a family-friendly work environment.
Duties

Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques to provide high-quality assistance.
Assist in processing insurance claims, verifying coverage, and collecting payments.
Assist practice with marketing tasks

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting is preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is essential.
Familiarity with dental terminology and medical coding is advantageous.
Proficiency in using Greyfinch or similar dental practice management software is a plus. Willing to train.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
