Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during patient procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Greet patients and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Take X-rays as needed (if certified).
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Uphold infection control standards and sterilization protocols.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental Assistant certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical imaging practices.
Familiarity with dental software systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is advantageous.
