The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive patient experience. This role involves direct patient care, clinical support for our dentists and specialists, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. Requirements:
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready and sterilized.
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including implant surgeries, extractions, restorations, and hygiene appointments.
Take and develop dental X-rays (digital and CBCT when applicable).
Record and update patient medical histories and treatment notes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Maintain infection control protocols and sterilization procedures in compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
Provide post-operative care instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.
Support front office as needed with scheduling or patient communication.
Ensure a high standard of patient comfort, care, and satisfaction.
Requirements:
Active and current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an RDA preferred; implant experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Carestack, or similar).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
