Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, possess excellent customer service skills and be passionate about exceptional patient care. As an assistant you will be responsible for multitasking and handling all tasks required to run the back office smoothly and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities

Assist dentist(s) during procedures.
Provide excellent chair side assistance and ensure patient comfort
Perform iTero scanning proficiently (preferred but can be trained).
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing educational information.
Support office operations and team members as needed.
Oversee and coordinate the back office operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods (preferred but not required).
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is an advantage.
Ability to multitask and manage back office operations.
Well-organized and reliable.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
