OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our dental team by ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care in a friendly and efficient environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient files, including documentation of treatment plans and patient history.
Operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners and sterilization tools while adhering to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Support various specialties including general dentistry
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout the practice.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Open Dental is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical records management and infection control practices is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a moderate paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
