OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care. The position is 2 to 3days including Saturday.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Utilize dental software such Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.
Support four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Assist with endodontic procedures, ensuring all materials are available and organized.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging as required.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow and patient satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with medical coding is a plus, enhancing the efficiency of patient billing processes.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including knowledge of various dental procedures and terminology.
Experience with infection control standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while demonstrating strong communication skills with both colleagues and patients.
