Dental Assistant/ Registered Dental Assistant - John Hai Vuu, DDS, Inc. - Vista, CA

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays using EagleSoft imaging software- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions and applying sealants- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records using Eaglesoft software- Greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle billing as needed- Adhere to Infection Control standards to ensure a safe and clean environment- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Skills:- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for taking and developing dental x-rays- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assistance during procedures- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, such as greeting patients and handling billing- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is protected
