Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and familiarity with various dental systems.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, including sterilization processes.
Take medical imaging using digital radiography systems, including 3D scanners when necessary.
Manage patient records accurately within Dentrix software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency during procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in dental terminology and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Dentrix software for managing patient records is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
