Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office, providing exceptional support to our dental team, and delivering outstanding care to our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control practices.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as necessary.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in the creation of dental models.
Maintain accurate patient records using Epic systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Provide assistance in various specialties including General Dentistry, Pediatrics, Endodontics, and more as required.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with dental terminology, infection control practices, and assisting techniques is essential.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus but not required.
A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a positive work environment is crucial.
