OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level DA to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the dental field. The Entry Level Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring patient satisfaction, and maintaining a high standard of care within our practice.
Duties

Assist dental professionals during patient examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
Perform infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Take vital signs and assist with patient assessments as needed.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and other diagnostic purposes.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by engaging with young patients in a friendly manner.
Help with general dentistry tasks, including endodontics when required.
Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance the patient experience.

Skills

Knowledge of general dentistry practices is essential.
Experience or training with 3D scanners is advantageous.
Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is preferred.
Experience with Epic software is beneficial for record management.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures is required.
Proficiency in using Denticon software will be considered an asset.
