Flexible hours – We’re not strictly 9 to 5, so evening or morning shifts are available.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment.
Manage patient records and documentation accurately using Dentrix software.
Provide support in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
Prepare treatment rooms before and after procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the office.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice.
Strong knowledge of endodontics and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred but not required.
Excellent infection control practices to ensure patient safety.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
Basic understanding of medical documentation and record-keeping is beneficial.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental care is essential.
