Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment notes.
Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, utilizing proper techniques for medical imaging.
Support patients by providing information about procedures and post-treatment care.
Manage dental receptionist duties including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
Assist in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Stay updated on medical coding practices relevant to dental procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, infection control standards, and medical documentation is highly desirable.
Experience with medical imaging techniques and X-ray processes is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
