Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front office operations of our dental practice. This role requires a strong understanding of medical office management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the dental team.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Process patient information, including insurance verification and medical billing tasks.
Utilize medical terminology and ICD-10 codes for accurate record-keeping.
Perform data entry tasks with proficiency in 10 key typing to ensure efficient processing of information.
Assist with administrative duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the dental office.

Experience

Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, particularly in dental or healthcare environments.
Familiarity with dental office management software and electronic health records Open dental
Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing processes, and insurance protocols.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Ability to work collaboratively with dental staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
