Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant at Oakside Dental, you will play a crucial role in supporting Dr. Horn and our clinical team by ensuring patients receive excellent care. You will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and providing a comforting experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist Dr. Horn during a variety of dental procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, and other restorative treatments
Prepare and organize tools needed for procedures
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Ensure patients are comfortable in the dental chair
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Manage inventory and restock dental supplies as needed
Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program (Required)
Current Radiology Certification (Required)
CPR Certification (Preferred)
1+ years of dental assisting experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., EagleSoft or similar) a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
