Job SummaryEstablished youthful and progressive west-side periodontal practice seeking a dental/periodontal assistant for 24-36 hours weekly.

Duties

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment/procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Take X-Rays as needed, ensuring proper technique and safety measures.
Record and maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the operatory is well-stocked.
Perform various office tasks as needed.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with various dental procedures.
Experience with Dentrix software is preferred but not mandatory.
