Nestled in the Chugach Foothills of Alaska, we are an established private practice looking to add a full or part-time Dental Hygienist to our growing team. Our practice is open Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling leaving ample time to get outside and enjoy all that Alaska has to offer. What We are Looking For:
Experienced Dental Hygienist (preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate)
Must exhibit an aptitude for patient care
Enthusiastic about all thingâs hygiene (Prophy, Perio, Scaling)
Diagnostic abilities and strong patient education skills are a MUST
Maintain hygiene tools in accordance with industry standards/laws for health and safety
Willing to take x-rays, Intra-orals, and the occasional dental impression
Excellent time management skills
Must be a collaborator
Outstanding communication skills
Meticulous documentation habits
Available to work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm (Days/Hours TBD prior to offer)
Diploma/Degree in Dental Hygiene
Anesthesia certification preferred
Valid license to practice in the State of Alaska (Or ability to obtain one prior to hire date)
