Location: Paramount Dental Care and Specialty, North Long Beach, CA
Position: Full-Time Dental Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership of general dental assisting, possess excellent customer service skills, and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As the assistant, you will be responsible for multitasking and handling all tasks required to run the back office efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during procedures.
Perform iTero scanning proficiently
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Maintain accurate patient records
Provide excellent chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing educational information
Support office operations and team members as needed
Oversee and coordinate the back office operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Train and mentor junior dental assistants
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general dental assisting (Required)
Team leadership (Required)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
Proficient with iTero scanning (Required)
Proficient in Eaglesoft Software (Preferred)
Exceptional customer service and bedside manners
Ability to multitask and manage back office operations
Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday per month
