Job Description

Palm & Poppy Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with pediatric dental experience to join our team. We are looking for someone who not only is passionate about working with children, but has had at least 1 year of experience working in a pediatric dental office. We are searching for team members who share our values: dedication to high-quality care for patients, passion for creating a productive and supportive work environment, and excitement towards helping develop a growing practice.
Part-time to start: Ideally, the RDA candidate would like to continue working in a more full-time capacity as the office grows.
Responsibilities

Ensuring patients and families feel warmly welcomed
Setting up instruments, materials, and equipment knowledgeably
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control according to standards & regulations
Providing education to patients and parents with excellent communication skills
Taking high-quality, diagnostic dental radiographs
Completing coronal polish
Maintaining accurate & detailed patient records
Assisting operative procedures

Required Qualifications

1-2+ year work experience in dentistry
Experience working with children
X-ray certification
Coronal polishing certificate
Excellent computer competency

Desired Qualifications

1+ year experience working in a pediatric dental office
Ability to provide cross-office support (ie. front office)
Pit & fissure sealant certificate
RDA
Speaks Spanish

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
