Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with patients.
Records evaluation of periodontal conditions.
Scales, polishes, and applies fluoride or fluoride alternative to patient’s teeth.
Evaluates gingival health and health of all oral tissue.
Executes root planing as needed
Educates patients on the disease process and the role of bacteria; provides appropriate educational literature and instruction on home care.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Valid X-ray certificate.
Local anesthesia certificate is a plus but not required.

Office Hours

Monday: 9:30 - 5:30
Tuesday: 9:30 - 5:30
Wednesday: 9:30 - 5:30
Thursday: 9:30 - 5:30
Friday: optional
