Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and energetic Orthodontic Assistant to support our orthodontists and provide high-quality care to our patients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, assisting in clinical procedures, and contributing to a positive and efficient office atmosphere.
Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist with chairside procedures including taking impressions, placing and adjusting braces, and other orthodontic treatments.
Prepare and sterilize dental equipment and instruments.
Take X-rays and diagnostic records as needed.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and the proper care of braces and other orthodontic appliances.
Schedule patient appointments and follow up with patients regarding treatment progress.
Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Assist with administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, confirming appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Completion of an accredited Orthodontic Assistant program (preferred).
Valid dental radiology certification (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant is a plus.
Knowledge of dental software and office procedures.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
