Sealy Kids Dentistry is located in Sealy, TX just 20 minutes west of Katy. We are searching for an experienced Dental Hygiene Assistant to join us full time. At Sealy Kids Dentistry, we know that every child is unique which is why we offer all of the tools and training to ensure that each patient has a positive experience in the dentist's chair.

Our office features a fun playroom filled with toys and games, TVs for patients to watch in the dental chair, and even a comfy place for adults to relax! Many of our patients love our office so much, they want to stay and play even after their appointment is finished. We are a fast paced office looking for someone that can grow with us. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Seating and greeting patients
Reviewing health history and taking vitals
Capturing X-rays as needed
4-handed chairside assisting
Explaining different dental procedures
Answering patient questions regarding treatment needs
Entering treatment into patient charts
Preparing treatment plans and presenting options to patients
Reviewing insurance and financial obligation to patients
Coronal polishing and placing sealants is a MUST
And, must love working with kids

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Assistant License as required by state
1+ years of experience as an RDA
Current CPR certification
Prior experience in a Pediatric office is preferred
Experience with sedation dentistry would be beneficial
Knowledge of Denticon software is a plus
