Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children of all ages, have a strong attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills. You will play a key role in assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring our young patients feel comfortable and safe, and supporting the overall dental care team.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the pediatric dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment
Take X-rays and provide other diagnostic support
Guide and reassure children before, during, and after dental treatments
Educate patients and parents about oral hygiene and preventive care
Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatment
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive, caring experience for both patients and their families
Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a safe, hygienic environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a dental assistant (pediatric /EDDA experience is a plus)
Dental Assistant certification (or the ability to obtain within a specified time)
Knowledge of dental terminology, tools, and equipment
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with children and parents in a professional and friendly manner
Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for working with children
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
