Job Description
Kare Orthodontics is seeking a diligent and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team as a Sterilization and Infection Control Specialist. This dual-role position requires expertise in both clinical dental assistance and sterilization processes, ensuring the highest standards of infection control in our clinics. We are specifically looking for a candidate fluent in Farsi, Persian, and English, as this skill is critical for effective communication with our diverse team and patient base.
Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring an efficient and comfortable experience for patients.
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare patients for dental treatment
Update patients' dental records
Provided chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort
Familiar with dental software and records management
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Skilled in taking and developing dental radiographs
Perform thorough sterilization of dental instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms and dental equipment for procedures.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures and ensure equipment meets safety standards.
Collaborate with the clinical team to guarantee the timely availability of sterilized instruments.
Fluency in Farsi, Persian, and English is essential for this position.
Work Schedule:
Monday and Friday: Work at our Petaluma office.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Work at our San Rafael office.
Thursday: Scheduled day off.
Pay Rate:
$35 per hour for the first two months of training.
Salary is negotiable after the two-month training period, based on performance and experience.
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in an RDA role.
Fluency in Farsi, Persian, and English is essential for this position.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of dental sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
