Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures, infection control protocols, and excellent communication skills to assist both patients and dental professionals effectively.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, ensuring proper sterilization and aseptic technique.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
