Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Elizabeth City, NC
Dental Transformations is looking for someone who will become not only apart of the team but also the family. We are excited to grow and would like someone who wants to continue to grow with us. We are hiring a Front Desk Administrator preferably someone with dental assisting experience.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
1+ years of experience in a dental setting
1+ years of experience in dental insurance
Knowledge in Dentrix Ascend
Responsibilities:
Greet Patients as they arrive
Schedule appointments for patients
Confirm appointments via phone and text message
Fill in cancellations and no-shows
Take patient payments
Send information as requested by insurance companies such as x-rays, charting, narratives, and other documentation for processing the claim when applicable
Provide insurance predetermination documentation to patients, contact the patient to make financial arrangements, and schedule treatment
Assist in managing front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

8 hour shift
