Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Dr. Floyd Garrett DDS - Cordova, TN

We are a fast paced, hardworking, friendly, family dental practice seeking a qualified, energetic, dependable and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be professional at all times, communicate well with others, and provide outstanding care to our patients. Ability to multi task and work as a team player is crucial.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Welcome patients
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post care instructions
Keep the operatory well cleaned and stocked
Maintain accurate patient records
Follow all OSHA and HIPPA guidelines
Performing other duties as required to support the office
Working collectively as a team to provide the best possible patient care

Skills/License Required:

One year experience as RDA, highly preferred
Must have and maintain a current TN RDA License
Must have Radiology Certification
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Excellent communication and people skills
Must have excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Experience with Eaglesoft Dental Software is preferred
Nitrous Monitoring Certificate preferred, not required

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday / Full Time
