Upscale dental office looking for a career-driven dental assistant. Experience in the dental field is not required. This is a unique position in our office that requires high energy, exceptional multitasking ability, stellar customer service, and a love for the field of orthodontia. Top tier respect for our patients and the community is an absolute must. Individual must work well under pressure and follow procedures meticulously; so careful attention to detail is a requirement. After training, employee must demonstrate competency in orthodontic dental assisting such as preparation for bracket bonding, setting up for and completing prescribed orthodontic adjustments, lab work, meticulous sanitizing of all areas between patients, etc.
This position requires an employee who is comfortable working "in the mouth" on a daily basis. This position also includes some administrative responsibilities such as patient communication and accepting calls during busier times of the day. Computer competency, excellent interpersonal skills, and outstanding customer service skills are a requirement. Be prepared to dress up and have fun as we are an office that tailors to pediatric patients. We strive for perfection; however, a fun personality is required! KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Must pass pre-employment examination.
Drug testing required.
Background check required.
Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
40 WPM keyboarding skills with a covered keyboard test.
