Key Responsibilities
Perform professional teeth cleanings (scaling, polishing, and stain removal).
Conduct periodontal assessments and provide deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) when necessary.
Take and interpret dental X-rays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
Assess patients for signs of oral diseases and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
Provide a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients of all ages.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid Florida Dental Hygienist license.
Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and technology.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice.
